1. PIMS'  Sales Service Processing

PIMS' Sales/Service Modules  provide  robust,  comprehensive capabilities for  the Sales/Service Team.  PIMS immediately delivers the information you need when you need it.  You have instant access to roll tracking, inventory and scheduling. PIMS helps get the job done more quickly and  builds customer loyalty through timely, informed  response.

Order processing is designed specifically for paper mills and provides quick, easy entry of orders, with automatic recall pricing by customer, access to inventory and block schedules.  Multiple mill operations can operate in centralized or decentralized modes or combinations.  Instant order, scheduling, production and shipping status throughout the enterprise is always at your fingertips.

2. Production Scheduling

Block scheduling is integrated within PIMS.  Simply identify the tons and grades or product groups and their sequence, and the system projects the block dates.  Orders are allocated to the block schedule according to  the desired due dates.  PIMS considers trimmed versus untrimmed allocation in determining the tonnage available for the block and warns PIMS sales/service and reps when a promised date needs to be moved ahead or back, or whether production blocks have to be expanded.  Manual tracking is not required.

3. Production and Management Reporting

The system cross checks lineal width, weight, dimensions and QC results against  order size requirements and customer standards...virtually eliminating errors.  Production and QC history are maintained on-line for as long as desired, and may be summarized and analyzed graphically or with spreadsheet format.  Interfaces to scales, Scanning and QC Measuring devices and other production counters and equipment are available.

4. Shipping

Information accuracy and availability are enhanced by use of bar coding and mobile RF scanners, to ensure that product is correctly labelled and shipped to the right customer.  Productivity and customer loyalty levels are enhanced as documents are automatically transmitted to customers, carriers and elsewhere by EDI, fax and e-mail.  RFID will be available in the near future.

5. Financial:  

PIMS offers an optional, fully integrated Financial module.  If you prefer, AIM will interface PIMS with your financial software.
